The complex reflects the profound teachings of the Gelug school (Yellow Hat sect) and holds a place of equal prominence alongside the Potala Palace in Lhasa.The centerpiece of the monastery is the Tsochin Assembly Hall, capable of hosting over 2,000 monks for prayer and chanting.
